It is believed that long ago Oriental dance was performed for special rituals and birthing rites for and among women only. Sophie Alize's classes are a return to this celebratory expression of the strength and wisdom of womanhood. Her aim is to encourage self love and heighten self esteem in her students through this expressive art form, embracing women of all ages, all sizes and all backgrounds.
