Arabic Nights@ Bondi Icebergs 2009

Arabic Nights was a huge success. The night included a 3 course Arabic banquet and bellydance show live at Bondi Icebergs - the first of its kind in Bondi!

The 20th Middle Eastern Dance Festival 2009

Sophie Alize performed with dance troupes Attar and Farrah at the 20th Middle Eastern Dance Festival. The night was a tremendous success and Attar was one of the highlights of the night!

Multicultural Australia 2007

Sophie's idea behind 'Mulicultural Australia' was to bring a little of the cultural diversity so prominent in multicultural Sydney, to rural Australia through the art of bellydance. Classes were conducted in a wool shed in Gilgandra NSW, with students of all ages who had never seen or heard of bellydance.The classes were a great success. Not only were the classes a great work out but students were able to learn a little of the Middle East through this fantastic workshop.

Pete's Ridge 2008

Sophie Alize was invited to Pete's Ridge Festival to teach workshops and perform at the wonderful 'Hands on Skins' drumming tent. Both were an enormous success.
